I love this place and the people who work/own it. They’ve been serving up the best Greek salad with their magical dressing forever. It’s not fancy, but anytime I’m in Mineola or even on Long Island, I’ll try to stop by for lunch. I hope they continue indefinitely and don’t change a thing.

I did a Google search and found this place for gyros. I ordered gyros and souvlaki specials and it just blew my taste buds away. They have some seriously good Greek food here to my surprise. The gyro was tasty and had enough meat and was not crazy salty which I always fear. The souvlaki was fresh and good amount to satisfy your meal. Lamb beef gyros take the crown and will be coming back here for more. Hands down the BEST gyros in Mineola so far! 😋

A tiny place with outstanding food. When I worked in Mineola, we ordered from Souvlaki Stop all the time. From the lamb souvlaki to the lemon chicken soup to the Greek salad, one dish is better than the next. If you're near the Mineola train station, it's a must visit.
